This is where you have to be picky. Some greens powders are all hype and flavour, designed to taste like juice and look good on Instagram. Others go heavy on the health side but are hard to get down because of the taste.
Then there are brands that find the right balance — focusing on functional ingredients, proper dosages, and honest labelling.
When choosing a greens powder, ask yourself:
- Can I see how much of each ingredient I’m getting?
- Does it contain things I actually want — like prebiotics, probiotics, or antioxidants?
- Is it filled with sugar substitutes or artificial flavours?
- Is it focused more on taste, or on results? AKA, how far up the ingredient list is flavouring and fillers?
The answers will tell you a lot.
